DREx Talk – Kuala Lumpur 2020
The AIAC together with DREx Talks are thrilled to present, “DREx Talk – Kuala Lumpur 2020” (“DREx Talk”) on Friday, 21st August 2020, LIVE at 3 p.m. MYT (GMT+8) on the AIAC’s YouTube platform. This occasion marks the very first time the DREx Talk will be hosted in Southeast Asia.
AIAC is honoured to have Dr. Michael Hwang S.C. (Barrister & Arbitrator at Michael Hwang Chambers LLC) as the DREx Speaker and Mr. Christopher Leong (Managing Partner, Chooi & Company + Cheang & Ariff) as the DREx Introducer. Dr. Hwang will be delivering a lecture on the setting aside of awards under Article 34 of the UNCITRAL Model Law, with a comparative overview across 8 jurisdictions.
Ms. Michelle Sunita Kummar, Deputy Head of Legal of AIAC and a DREx Fellow Member, will be the Master of Ceremonies. Ms. Kummar will also provide the DREx Talk Welcoming and Closing Remarks.
